We are providing you with the IRS required form which is essential to be completed in its entirety by the taxpayer before we can send ANY information to another institution or designated individual.
1099-Misc Mailing on December 2, 2016
Our office mailed out a Form 1099-Misc information letter with Form W-9 to help our clients understand the increased penalties for failure to file timely by January 31, 2017 to the Contractors and the IRS agency. We are also attempting to inform clients that the IRS is increasing the e-file regulations to speed up income verification and matching. This is the IRS’ easiest way to increase their revenue, through the penalties assessed and for non-reporting of income, under Congress’ budget cuts.
